How to level up in Crossout from scratch: tips for beginners
🚗 How to level up in Crossout from scratch: tips for beginners
Crossout is not just a game about armored vehicles, it is a real battle for resources, parts and style. If you have just started playing, here are some tips that I use and that will help you level up quickly and not get lost in the post-apocalyptic world.
Choose a faction wisely
At the start, you have access to the "Mechanics" faction. It gives you basic parts, but over time you will be able to open others - for example, "Men in White" or "Eaters". Each faction has its own characteristics, and it is important to choose the one that suits your style of play.
Assemble a balanced car
You should not immediately install all the heaviest. A light, maneuverable car with two guns is often more effective than a bulky monster. Experiment with cabins, wheels, and weapons.
Participate in PvP and PvE
PvP battles give experience and resources, and PvE missions give you the opportunity to farm parts. Don't ignore brawls and events - they often give unique rewards.
Complete daily tasks
Every day you get missions that give experience, resources, and sometimes rare parts. This is a stable way to level up.
Don't be afraid to experiment
Crossout is a game about creativity. Try different builds, see what works and what doesn't. Sometimes the strangest car turns out to be the most effective.
You're not just a player - you're an engineer, strategist, and racer all rolled into one. And the more you try, the faster you'll level up.

🔹 2. Build a balanced car
At the start, it's easy to get carried away with the idea of building a huge monster with a bunch of guns, armor, and wheels. But I forgot that there is heaviness and my monster didn't even move😂 and I realized that in Crossout, the winner is not the one who is heavier, but the one who is more maneuverable and smarter. A light car with good speed and two stable guns is often more effective, but do not make it too small, otherwise even the first car will crush you😅. Pay attention to the balance between armor, weight and mobility - if the car barely moves, you will become an easy target. Use cabins with energy bonuses, put wheels with good cross-country ability, and do not forget about protecting the rear - they often shoot there when you retreat. Better buy a scope and shoot from afar, so you can deal damage, and no one will get to you! Also install rocket launchers, they are very effective! Better install a lot of guns, otherwise you will have to ram everyone like

🔹 3. Participate in PvP and PvE
When I first entered PvP, I thought: “I’m going to blow everyone away!” — and after 10 seconds I was left without wheels, without a cabin, and without hope 😂. But it is PvP battles that give the most stable experience and resources, especially if you are not just driving, but helping the team. Don’t be afraid to sacrifice yourself for the sake of victory! If there are a lot of enemy vehicles around you, don’t be afraid to self-destruct! So you will die, but you will win! PvE is also useful — there you can farm parts and calmly upgrade without pressure. Brawls are a separate topic altogether: sometimes there are such modes that you don’t understand whether you are playing Crossout or a circus on wheels 🤡🚗. The main thing is not to be afraid to lose. Every battle is experience, and even if you are destroyed, you still get a reward. And if you win, then well done.then you will take the experience
