Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Season 5 Reloaded, also identified as Update 1.80, marks a major mid-season infusion of content that reinvigorates the multiplayer and Zombies experience while refining gameplay balance and technical polish. Dropping on September 4, this update introduces a wealth of new content, from fresh maps and modes to weapon additions and quality-of-life improvements. It sets the tone for a dynamic second half of the season.
A centerpiece of this update is its new multiplayer map, Jackpot. Inspired by the Casino setting featured in past Black Ops installments and the “High Rollers” campaign mission, Jackpot transports players to Casino Luttazzi, a dazzling, high-stakes venue set in the hills of Avalon. The map features combat across the opulent casino floor, backstage areas, and terrace and gazebo zones. Its medium-sized layout caters well to 6v6 engagements, offering a blend of tight interior skirmishes and elevated sightlines outdoors. Navigating between luxurious lounge areas and dynamic open spaces, players face the risk of showdowns in glamorous ambush points or high-visibility duel locations.
To complement the new map, Update 1.80 adds both new and returning modes that sharpen competition and revive fan favorites. Ransack returns, tasking teams with looting gold bars from piles around the map or fallen enemies, then depositing them at drop-off points—though no stash is ever truly safe once acquired. Meanwhile, Blueprint Gunfight emerges in-season, putting duos against each other in rounds using pre-loaded, curated weapon blueprints, with no respawns and the pressure to win six rounds to claim victory. Cranked Demolition, a lit-up twist on classic Demolition mode, combines directional bomb objectives with cranked mechanics: eliminations refresh your countdown timer and grant bonus score, intensifying the high-speed stakes of each round.
Update 1.80 also introduces the Combat Bow, a returning fan-favorite Scorestreak now available for 500 points in both Multiplayer and Zombies. The weapon fires fast, explosive-tipped arrows that leave lingering pools of flame on impact—a clever blend of lethal precision and area denial that can reshape fight outcomes. In Zombies, the Bow also integrates into the Crafting Table, expanding tactical options for undead engagements.
But the overhaul doesn’t stop with content. Zombies receives the new Reckoning Directed Mode, available mid-season. This adjusts the Reckoning map by introducing a round cap of 15 and offering guidance through the Main Quest as players breach the perilous Janus Towers. Additionally, Team Cranked returns to Zombies mode: once the first undead falls, a shared timer activates for the entire squad. Every zombie kill resets the clock, and a lapse means the end.
Season 5 Reloaded also ushers in new leaderboard events—No Cranked, No Glory and Undead Ascension—that challenge players to rise through ranks and earn rewards. These motivate both solo and squad play, adding competitive longevity to the Zombies experience.
Under the hood, the update delivers numerous refinements across UI, stability, and weapon balance. Scorestreak selectors now better reflect destroyed states, HUD elements and Ranked Play party behavior have been polished, and overall stability issues have been addressed. Sniper rifles like the LW3A1 Frostline, SVD, LR 7.62, AMR Mod 4, and HDR get handling tweaks—improvements to aim down sight times, sprint-to-fire responsiveness, and flinch or idle sway resistance—enhancing consistency without stripping class identity.
On the technical and interface side, players also benefit from smarter camo tracking and streamlined navigation—especially notable for users juggling multiple loadouts across modes. The last-used weapon camo now accurately tracks in both lobby and in-game menus, easing the process of maintaining cosmetic progression.
At its core, Update 1.80 is more than a content drop—it’s a statement that Black Ops 6’s evolving battlefield remains responsive to its player base. Casino showdowns, looting face-offs, bow-led chaos, and zombies under timer pressure converge to refresh the meta. With polished UI, weapon tuning, and ranked play enhancements on top, Season 5 Reloaded stands as a compelling mid-season reboot that reinvigorates the experience across all fronts.
