Gachalife Review by Anvil Games & Entertainment

Gacha life is a sandbox type of game where you get to create characters and make stories about them. The characters appear like Japanese anime or chibi. I recommend this game for kids at least seven years old who are creative and would like to turn their stories into comic videos. The instructions are actually easy to follow for a primary school student. There are a lot of children making YouTube videos of their stories using this platform.

I was captivated by the video made by my cousin who is just seven years old. She created characters from Power Puff girls: blossom, buttercup, and bubbles. It's almost realistic because there are so many accessories to choose from. And she had lots of background images to choose from plus it's easy to make the character move because of the different poses options. You can add sound effects to the movements. Children make their own adventure through Gacha lIfe and that’s why I recommend this for parents to download if they want their children to enhance their imagination.

You can customize the hair, eyes, mouth, height, clothes, weapons, and even change the mood and character profile. And she had lots of background images to choose from plus it's easy to make the character move because of the different poses options. You can add sound effects to the movements. Children make their own adventure through Gacha lIfe and that’s why I recommend this for parents to download if they want their children to enhance their imagination. There is a maximum of eight characters that you can create in Gacha Life which in turn you can use in the story. So you just have to recreate some of the characters in case you have more than eight persons in the story. Nevertheless, it’s fun and it sparks my cousin's creativity.

If you want to create a story using Gacha Life and post it on youtube, I recommend you to download a video maker like Mobizen or AZ. How my seven-year-old cousin do it is

1. She chooses characters for her, for example, Powerpuff Girls and Rowdyruff boys.

2. She creates each character using the presets and edits it accordingly, Blossom took her 10 minutes to finish

3. She creates the storyline and chooses the background for each plot.

4. She then puts dialogue boxes and sound effects.

5. To create movement, you have to make a sequence of poses and then put it all together in the videomaker.

6. She only screenshots each movement, it’s very simple. Again, all you need is creativity.

7. You can also add music background to enhance the quality of entertainment.

8. It took her a minimum of thirty minutes for every ten-minute video.

9. Then she uploads the video on youtube once she’s fine with edits.

10. Having a catchy title and proper hashtags can help invite more viewers but she only had two hashtags but was able to get 1000 organic viewers in the first month.

I also played Minecraft and what makes it different from Gachalife are:

1. Minecraft is 3D and Gacha Life is 2D

2. You cannot customize the background in Gachalife. You can actually recreate the background altogether

3. Minecraft has fewer customization settings for characters than Gacha Life. The latter also has presets which means you don’t have to start from scratch.

4. Which means, Minecraft is more time consuming than Gacha Life if you have to start from scratch. Customized characters on Minecraft, however, can be downloaded if you like.

5. Mine craft is more interactive than Gacha Life because the players can meet and help each other build online. Since it requires a lot of effort in Minecraft to build something, a player would need friends to help make something like a house.

6. Both games can enhance the creativity of players because they have to create their challenge or story.

7. If the player is into building structures or architecture, they should choose Minecraft. If the player is into fashion, accessories, and storytelling, they should choose Gacha Life.
