How 2 play Alter in Apex Legends?
In this guide I will explain how to play the legend Alter. Introduced in season 21 of Apex Legends. Alter was pretty great since launch. Her ability to counter defensive legends was really broken and still is if you can work with it. Alter is a skirmisher legend, meaning she’s designed for flanking, quick movements, and aggressive repositioning. She’s all about surprising enemies, slipping behind them, and getting her team into or out of fights fast. Her style suits players who enjoy moving around the map quickly and creating chaos during fights. She’s not a full-on support legend, but she offers mobility that helps the whole squad. With the ability to open doors from far away and teleport through walls or cover, Alter makes it easier to start or escape tricky fights. She fits best in squads that are always on the move, chasing kills, or rotating early. If you like to think ahead, control space, and outmaneuver your opponents, Alter offers a lot of creative options. The team shown in the picture below with Alter, Fuse and Octane can be absolutely overpowered because of the following abiities.

Alter’s Tactical Ability, Void Passage, is her most unique tool. It lets her place a small portal in front of her and another one on the other side of a surface like a wall or a door. She and her teammates can teleport through it instantly. It’s great for flanking, escaping sticky situations, or even catching enemies off guard. Her Passive Ability, Gift from the Rift, lets her reach into nearby death boxes through phase rifts, allowing her to loot them from a distance. This can be useful for grabbing armor swaps, ammo, or weapons without putting yourself in danger. Her Ultimate, Void Nexus, sets down a phase anchor that lets your teammates return to it once if they get knocked or need to reposition. It’s like a second chance for your squad a safe spot to come back to after a risky fight or push. Used right, it can completely change how a fight ends. She can be used to maintain distance with her ultimate along with her ability to loot from far away. She can also use her tactical ability to bypass door reinforcements by catalysts. She is insanely good for flanking the enemies.

Alter is strongest when used by players who are creative with movement and smart about positioning. Her tactical can open up routes no other legend can use, letting you break through walls or set up unexpected flanks. The ultimate can be game-changing in the late game, especially if your team gets caught out or pushed hard. But she’s not perfect. Her portals can only go short distances, and using them carelessly can put your team in bad positions. Also, her ultimate is stationary, and if enemies see it, they might camp or trap it. She doesn’t have a damage or healing ability, so you need to rely on good aim, smart decision-making, and timing. Alter works best in fast, aggressive squads that take risks and play together. If you're someone who likes planning sneaky pushes, escaping death at the last second, or supporting your team with smart plays, Alter can be one of the most fun and flexible legends to play. That wraps it up for this guide on how to use Alter. Hope it helps. Thank you and have a great day.
