Ragnarok (beginner's guide)

So you're new to ragnarok. Then I present to you "beginner's guide to ragnarok". I have covered the spwan locations and resiurce location in this guide. First let's start off with spawning because spawning in ragnarok can be tricky because there are no easy, medium or hard icons for the spawn loactions. Let's begin with the jungles, the jungle offers the safest area for spawning in. The only issue that I have found with jungle is that there is a lot of traffic with players if you are playing in a PvP server. This means that you could still die a lot while spawning here. But no matter what keep your distance away from the blue obelisk. Viking bay is also another great location to spawn in if you are new and trying to learn the game. Even though some would say vikings bay is safer I would disagree because there still are few minor threats like raptors. Vikings bay is more aesthetically pleasing with the big dinosaur bone in a nice little cove area. Spawning in highlands is a lso a great idea if you know what you are doing. The higjlands is filled with allosauruses and giganotosaurus. But all this danger could be worth it because this area is filled with crops and you can run to the redwoods pretty easily for the pteranodon's. And now there is the southwest spawn points. Well all I got to say is that southwest spawns are good for dying. This is because you spawn in a very hot death valley, which is filled with nothing but hostiles. The only good thing about this place is for taming the rock golems and getting cactus sap.

This is all for the spawn points. now let's move on to finding resources. Resources can be difficult to find on ragnarok so here is the best are for every important resource in the game. Wood can be farmed easily in the redwoods but wood is everyehre so it is not a big issue. Thatch is also the same because where you will find wood is where you will find thatch. Stone is found in bulk in every single place except for the highlands and flint is also in the exact place as stone. Crystal is an important resiurce in this game since it is used for crafting spyglasses and also things like fabricator industrial forge and so on. Crystal can be found in the southwest region more towards the desert and underwater. Metal is probably one of the most important resource in this game because it is used for almost everything. If you see something shiny then you probably need metal for crafting that item. Metal can be found almost everywhere in ragnarok. The rich metal nodes can be found more towards the highlands, jungle and the middle of the southwest regions. Obsidian is also an important resource while it is not as used as metal and is rarer than metal.

Obsidian can be found more towards the jungles, volcano ,southwest and in the redwoods area. Oil is also an important resource because it is used for crafting cryopods, Industrial forge and also gasoline. Since gasoline is one of the fuels you use in this game it makes oil really important. Oil can be found all over the edges of the map borders underwater. Some oil can be found near the jungle in the snow biome on the oil veins and there are even some in the desert. However if you are playing in a PvP server then you should be aware that these area with oil veins have probably been captured by other players so go check these veins assoon as possible before it's too late and it is captured already. Crops and vegetables are used to tame herbivores, to make kibble, to create recipes and so on. While you can grow your own crops it wouldn't be bad to pick some up from the highlands because the highlands is covered with these crops and their seeds. Silica pearls can be found in the left side of the map in water and rivers. And lastly sulfur can be found in the volcano, southwest and some parts of the desert biome. That's it for today thank you and have a good day.
