ARK Survival Evolved - Good or Bad ?
ARK Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival game developed by Studio Wildcard with collaboration with Instinct Games, Efecto Studios, and Virtual Basement. It is made with the unreal engine which is a good engine. The game is very fun as you spawn in with nothing and have to build up to the greatest survivor on the dinosaur infested island. But that isn't the only place you can go. You can take to the skies or go to the deep blue depths of the surrounding ocean with spooky and amazing underwater creatures which you can tame and build above or below. The sky's the limit (Not really).
Pros:
You can tame Dinosaurs
Very Pretty game if your PC will run it with the settings turned up
Great when playing with a friend as you can experience the world together
Cons:
Building system is horrible to work with as it is very limiting on creativity due to it's illogical foundation system.
Performance is horrible Even on high end systems.
A lot of bugs still after the early access.

My only complaint is the optimization. The optimisation is terrible as you really need a high end gaming pc to play this game even at low to medium setting. it has gotten better but still has a long way to go.
THE PRICE - It is priced at a triple AAA game even higher than games like Call of Duty and GTA.
The game is like a job, there are literally chores to do feeding dinos, restocking generators, restocking torches and so on, if you don't do this regularly you tames will all die, your food and resources will spoil and people will attack your undefended base, so there is a mandatory sign in every 3 days really, although if you want to keep your stuff you would be made to ever leave it that long.
However the main problem with this game is it takes forever to achieve anything and others but a moment to extinguish it. After about the 3rd or 4th time of getting utterly wiped while offline I personally gave up (if you are of any reasonable standing at all, an I'm talking you have made a single shot gun kind of level) you will never ever ever get some PVP all PVP is on this game is someone C4's their way into you base, an destroys everything you have.

Other than that it is a really good game and i would recommend if you have a PC that can run it and If you enjoy a
sandbox world you will occupy in order to do your thing, this game absolutely amazing for that Buy it and its season pass because it is worth the money. If there is a fear of needless grind, know that those elements can be configured at all levels. Each map is a brand new experience, and the game lets you move between maps with ease. My advice to you is to start with the Island and then move to Scorched Earth as you can get more experience playing the base game with the default map then move on to something new as scotched earth is harder and requires more experience to be in the world and survive.
Overall, I would give it 4.2 out of 5 just cause it is a good game but would be better if they fixed the OPTIMIZATION AND THE PRICE.
